Frequently Asked Questions

Through chiropractic care, we treat the root of the problem, rather than the symptoms alone. Chiropractic care is a non-invasive, chemical-free approach to holistic wellness and can help treat a multitude of ailments, including pain affecting your joints, muscles, bones, cartilage, connective tissue, and more.

Chiropractic care can help any person, regardless of age or gender. Whether you’re suffering from headaches, neck and back pain, an injury, or otherwise, chiropractic care is truly a one-stop shop.

Our goal of wellness intervention is always to restore homeostasis, or balance to the body. When interferences to the nervous system are removed, homeostasis occurs. Human beings are innately designed to be in balance. Through pressure points and movement, your body is able to achieve this through the careful, precise hands of a chiropractic doctor.

The Radiant team goes beyond a basic adjustment or treatment; we lend an ear and offer advice when needed. We don’t just go through the motions. We listen and tailor your care to fit your unique situation and needs!

Yes! For first-time patients, please note that you may have to wait two weeks before we’ll be able to see you. We’ll make it worth the wait!

We will tailor your appointment frequency to fit your needs. If you are seeking a one-time treatment, we can do that. If you’d like to book weekly sessions, we can do that, too. Daily sessions? You got it.

We will weigh all factors of your treatment options and come up with a plan that works for all parties involved.

We offer a wide variety of other non-medicinal wellness care techniques, such as acupuncture, dry needling, and more. From plantar fasciitis to migraines, and everything in between, we’re here to help you on your journey to wellness!

It depends on the provider. Please call our office to speak to the receptionist if you would like more information: (913) 322-0251.

We also accept care credit and offer other options, such as wellness payment plans.

We use special low force techniques that are gentle and effective. Adjustments for infants are completely different from adult adjustments.

Yes! We use a specific chiropractic analysis and adjustment called the Webster technique, which reduces interference to the nervous system and balances the pelvic muscles and ligaments. This improves function in the mother’s pelvis and may contribute to easier labors and delivery.

With chiropractic care in general, we talk about the different stressors that are likely affecting you, including physical stressors, trauma, toxic stressors, such as what we’re breathing, what we are eating, our thoughts, and overall mindfulness. Together, through nutritional and traditional counseling, we can discuss goal setting and help you achieve wellness from the inside out!

When you pop your own neck or crack your knuckles, you’re not pinpointing the exact root of the problem. In most cases, you’re actually creating long-term damage. Think of it like a hair tie that gets pulled and stretched repeatedly. Eventually it will break. With chiropractic care, your doctor is able to find the specific joint with the issue and correct it properly, which relieves your pain and helps prevent further damage.

No Shows/Late Cancellation: Patients who do not keep their appointments deprive others of an opportunity to see their doctor. Please call us as soon as you know that you will not be able to keep an appointment. We reserve the right to charge a $25 fee per 20 minutes scheduled if the appointment is cancelled less than 24 hours in advance or if the patient simply does not show up for the appointment.
Appointments & Late Arrivals: We ask you to arrive on time to your appointment. If you are more than 8 minutes late you will be rescheduled.
